My presidential theme for this year is ACT- Achieving, Continuity, Togetherness.

Achieving – Since year 2007, we have involved ourselves with various project which covered 4 areas of opportunities. Throughout the year, projects organized had achieved our JCI Kulim goals & objectives and our chapter had been recognized as the best chapter of Malaysia and Best New Chapter of the World in year 2009.

Hence, JCI Kulim again drafted out our plan and goals to achieve more, keep chapter continue growth and have a stronger foundation.

Continuity – JCI Kulim will continue work together and share the best practice, to establish relationship with members, corporate companies, local council, others NGOs, government sectors and public as well.

Togetherness – Sense of togetherness and spirit to work in team for success is indeed great and crucial in JCI Kulim as to establish and achieve JCI Vision- to be the leading global network of young active citizens and JCI Mission- to provide development opportunities that empower young people to create positive change. In year 2010, we recommit to extend our membership, to remain relevancy to our community and to enhance personal development of individual member in chapters and it definitely need lots of teamwork and together we will sure achieve more.

With the current economy turbulences and its affection, I strongly believe JCI Kulim has the ability to work through the difficult time and with the qualities of incoming Board of Directors, I am sure the year ahead would be a successful one with the effort of unselfishness and persistence on all the undertaking. By applying ‘Learn by Doing’ and practicing JCI movement, I sincerely believe that we can achieve our vision and goals and make a amazing year of 2010 for JCI Kulim.

In year 2010, JCI Kulim will be the hosting LOM for Area Peninsular Convention. There are sure a great learning value to all members through this dynamic convention with the great exposure and experiences that will definitely brings to wonderful memories of members in JCI Kulim.

To continue ‘Service to Community is the best work of life’ commitment and promote environmental conservation flagship project, JCI Kulim will create another task force to continue educate and develop a sense of responsible and enhance the social responsibility.

We look forward in making the JCI Kulim year 2010 as one of the fulfilling and enjoyable moments in our Jaycees lives.

In conclusion, I value the trust you have placed in me, I will do my best and work with you to continue raise up our spirit to another milestone.
